The board of Ordo Iuris is expanding with new members

At the begining of October, the composition of the Ordo Iuris Management Board changed, in line with the program presented by the President of the Management Board and the Chairman of the Foundation Council, Jerzy Kwaśniewski. The Management Board is joined by experienced members of the Institute's team, previously cooperating with the Management Board as part of the Management Team: Monika Leszczyńska, attorney-at-law. Magdalena Majkowska, attorney-at-law Rafał Dorosiński and Łukasz Bernaciński.

Judicial pronouncements of the EU Member States confirm the primacy of national constitutions

● The Constitutional Tribunal, at the request of the Prime Minister, will rule whether the Constitution of the Republic of Poland takes precedence over EU law, wherein he indicated that the CJEU exceeded its powers.

● Earlier, the Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that if a national court finds that domestic law infringes EU law, it has an obligation to refrain from applying such provisions of domestic law, regardless of whether they are statutory or constitutional.

LGBT’s activist’s fake news debunked. The Prosecutor’s Office refuses to investigate

The District Prosecutor’s Office in Warszawa-Praga refused to investigate the attempted murder of the LGBT activist Maja G. alias “Lu”. In October 2020, the woman posted a comment on her Facebook profile that someone had allegedly tried to push her under a tram. Supposedly, the reason was that she identified herself with the LGBT ideology.
