• On January 20, Sejm Speaker Szymon Hołownia announced that the citizens' bill aimed at protecting minors from online pornography would proceed to its first reading in the Sejm, the lower house of Poland's parliament.

• Consumption of pornographic content among children and adolescents is a growing problem and concerns those of younger and younger ages. 

· An inmate serving a life sentence for murder in Slovakia complained to the European Court of Human Rights about the confiscation of pornographic images used by prison authorities "for auto-erotic purposes".

· In his complaint to the ECtHR, he demanded 75,000 euro in compensation.
