On April 20, 2022, the Ordo Iuris Institute for Legal Culture organized a conference in the European Parliament (EP) building in Brussels in cooperation with the office of Witold Waszczykowski, Member of the European Parliament (MEP).

· An extraordinary session was held in the European Parliament to discuss Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

· Emily O’Reilly presented the European Ombudsman’s activity report for 2020 to the European Parliament.

· The European Parliament held a debate on ‘the situation in Belarus and at its border with the EU, and the security and humanitarian implications’.

· The debate was remarkably calm, with the majority of MEPs unanimously supporting Poland’s resistance and condemning the aggressive actions of Belarus.
