The French “France Culture” website posted a feature suggesting Poland’s responsibility for the war crimes of the Third Reich. The text was accompanied by photos of flags with swastikas.

The District Prosecutor’s Office in Warszawa-Praga refused to investigate the attempted murder of the LGBT activist Maja G. alias “Lu”. In October 2020, the woman posted a comment on her Facebook profile that someone had allegedly tried to push her under a tram. Supposedly, the reason was that she identified herself with the LGBT ideology.

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe has published its annual report, which shows that the number of religious hate crimes continues to increase. Christians are their target in all of the OSCE member states. It is shaped, amongst others, by the political and media marginalisation of this social group or presenting its detrimental image.

Sex education classes are now under discussion in Poland. The experiences of other countries that have implemented such programmes are of significant importance in this respect. Such countries as Sweden, Germany and Denmark, instituting a permissive model of comprehensive sex education, have observed high rates of abortion among teenagers, sexually transmitted diseases and sex offences.

This opinion has been prepared in connection with the provisional agreement on a new general regime of conditionality to protect the EU budget, which reflects the dissatisfaction of EU institutions with the directions of judicial reforms in Poland and Hungary.

On Thursday, 12th November 2020, Ordo Iuris Institute hosted the Defending Women’s Rights Conference, opening the series of periodic debates. Two panels, which opened the whole cycle of discussions concerning this subject, dealt with the issue of political and doctrinal context of the discussion on women’s rights, also mentioning the topic of women’s right to health. The main target of the Conference was analyzing the problem of women’s rights in a non-ideological way.
